Abstract
A consecutive account of the country and people on and beyond the Indian frontier from Chitral to Dera Ismail Khan.
In this second edition considerable additions have been made, and chapters IV and VIII to XIV have been entirely re-written.
Contents: Chitral, Yusufzai, Peshawar, Jalozai, Kohat, Samana, Kurram, A tale from Tirah, Bannu, Fronteir Field Firing, Shahbash Ilam Dim, Sheikh Budin, Derajat and Waziristan.
