This article is an update of the Omaha apartment market study that was published in the September, 1981, issue of the Review of Applied Urban Research, Volume IX, Number 7. The purpose is to examine the historical construction ... of apartments in the Omaha area as a result of fluctuating interest rates, rising raw materials and energy costs, and to identify the market conditions operating in today's economy that have hampered expansion.
