Number and Projection of the Number of the Elderly Population in Nebraska Counties, 1980 to 2020
Abstract
This report contains two tables each for three different categories of the elderly population in Nebraska Counties: persons age 65 or over, persons age 75 or over and persons age 85 or over.
The first table lists the number of persons for 1980, 1990, and 2000, and the percent change in population between 1990 and 2000.
The second table lists projections of the numbers of persons for 2010, 2015 and 2020, and the projected percent change in population between 2010 and 2020.
Each table also presents a sum for each year of numbers of persons in metropolitan and non-metropolitan counties and for micropolitan and non-metropolitan/micropolitan counties with and without towns over 2,500 population.
