Abstract
This third edition of the University of Nebraska at Omaha Fact Book has been designed to present a variety of information and data, about the University, in a concise, easily used format. I hope this provides a profile of UNO that will expand your understanding of our institution.
I would like to draw your attention to the expansion of the "Students and Alumni" section. Some areas are covered that have not been subjects in previous editions: the ethnic distribution of the student body, distribution by class standing, high school origin of the freshmen class, and data on ACT performances by 1983 freshmen. Additionally, many of the tables used in previous editions have been re-formatted to contain previous years' data and allow some simple trends to become explicit.
