Abstract
The University Honors Program is an academic learning community. The mission of the Honors Program is to provide an enhanced and supportive learning environment responsive to the educational needs of highly able and/or exceptionally motivated undergraduate students. This goal will be accomplished through participation of faculty noted for excellence in teaching by providing small Honors sections of regular courses,interdisciplinary Honors colloquia, special seminars, and increased opportunity for undergraduate research and creative activity.
