Abstract
An attempt has been made to bring into one view the principal facts which have been recorded by former travelers, or are now derivable from other sources, concerning the trade and resources of the countries beyond the north-western boundary of British India, with the object of furnishing information auxiliary to the future improvement of the existing intercourse between them and our own territories.
Valuable maps have been furnished by Major Walker, and Captain P. Lumsden.
