Abstract

The Center for Applied Urban Research provided a variety of research, technical assistance, and training services during 1983-1984. Service was provided to clients from local and state governments and to non-profit organizations as well as private industry. Communities across Nebraska were the recipients of CAUR assistance. These included Omaha, Lincoln, Grand Island, Nebraska City, Wayne, Gothenburg, and Scottsbluff. State agencies served included the Nebraska Crime Commission, the Department of Social Services, and the Equal Opportunity Commission. Non-profit organizations included the Legal Aid Society, the Urban League, the Omaha Hospice Organization, the Community Housing Resources Board, and the Local Initiatives Support Corporation.
