Abstract

In this video in this series, Goldstein Center faculty interview leading experts and community figures in an attempt to face down some of the most serious human rights challenges that confront us during this time of Covid-19. The series is a production of the Goldstein Center for Human Rights and UNO TV; both at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. The views and opinions expressed are those of the individual contributors and do not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of either UNO entity.

Curtis Hutt, the Goldstein Center's Executive Director interviews Dr. Ramazan Kilinc about the current situation of Christian minorities in Turkey in lieu of the recent re-conversion of the Hagia Sophia museum in Istanbul back into a mosque, during a global pandemic. Dr. Ramazan Kilinc is an Associate Professor of Political Science and Director of the UNO Islamic Studies Program.
