Abstract

Night Out is a responsive web application developed as a CSCI-4970 Capstone project. The motivation behind this project was to create a simple to use application for groups of friends planning an outing. The technology chosen to implement this web application is MeteorJS, a tool that supports instant updating of data without a page refresh. Focusing on learning new platforms such as Meteor allowed this project to include many features that would not have been available on other platforms.
