Abstract

This research proposal focuses on developing a web application portal for visualizing the dynamic networks (graph). Dynamic networks i.e. the networks which change with time are ubiquitous and are useful for analysis in various domains such as biological and epidemiology. There is a software available for visualizing networks such as Cytoscape [1], Gephi [2], and Neo4j [3], however, these tools are pretty good for small static networks and doesn’t allow the user to visualize dynamic networks. The overall idea is to build a web application portal using Django and Ember Js to allow users to upload their network, visualize them, make changes such as adding or deleting nodes and edges and update network properties such as Minimum Spanning Tree (MST), and Single Souce Shortest Path(SSSP).
