Abstract

In order to understand why women are less likely to enter and stay in STEM fields in Nebraska, we conducted an extensive qualitative study. Through 48 in-depth interviews with current females in STEM careers we explored the opportunities and challenges that attract and retain women in STEM fields in Nebraska. This poster will detail our findings.
