Description

Torres shares the story of Nildda Izquierdo, a Cuban teacher, mother, and grandmother. Utilizing interviews of her, he shares how she was born and raised in Cuba, grew to love teaching, became a mother and married, and what being a Cuban immigrant means to her. In summary, Torres shares an experience of immigration and how immigrants view their culture within the new life they've created for themselves. ***Note: There are additional images that correspond to this presentation.
