Abstract

The article presents an introduction to a series of articles on governance theory and the state. The authors and the subjects of their respective articles include Patricia Mooney Nickel presenting on network governance and constitutionalism, Thomas J. Catlaw presenting on governance and the three-sector society, and Max Stephenson, Jr. presenting on the "permanent things" and moral imagination in organizational structures.
