The mission of the UNO Accounting Department is to: provide high quality educational programs for students preparing for professional careers in accounting and provide the skills necessary to pursue various professional accounting certifications; prepare students who earn both BSBA and MAcc degrees at UNO to meet the Nebraska educational requirements for the CPA exam; engage in high quality scholarship through the production of intellectual contributions that are relevant to our discipline, our students, and our community; and provide support to our stakeholders.
