Identified by cataloger as possibly being the miniature version of the map of Asia by Jodocus Hondius, engraved by Pieter Van Den Keere, as it appeared in Johannes Cloppenburg's edition of Gerhard Mercator's Atlas Minor, engraved in a slightly larger format than the standard Dutch pocket atlases of the time. This version of the map was first published in 1630 and appearing in editions until 1636, then not appearing in print again until 1673. The title of "Asia" appears in a small box in the upper right corner of the map. Cartographer, engraver, publisher, and date not identified on source and are inferred from comparison to similar maps in the catalogs of antique map dealers.
