Counseling is the art and science of helping people grow and develop throughout their lifespan. Graduate students develop knowledge and skills to support people in various stages, challenges, and transitions in life. The School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health programs are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). CACREP is the accrediting body of the American Counseling Association and is evidence of an attitude and philosophy that program excellence is a fundamental goal.
