Nebraska Historical Population Report
Abstract
This report shows decennial census counts and annual estimates of the population for Nebraska and its counties and cities. Demographic patterns and trends, including changes in the components of population change, are illustrated. An evaluation of where we have been demographically over time may show us where we are headed as a state. It is important to see how changes have been occurring at both the local and statewide level. A summary of important aspects to note as one peruses the tables and figures in this report follows below:
