Description

Radio Talking Book Service (RTBS) provides equal access to printed material for individuals who are blind, visually impaired, or have a physical or cognitive disability that prevents them from reading. RTBS does this through two programs: Radio Talking Book Network, a radio reading service that broadcasts statewide; and Listening Link, an educational reading service that provides recorded textbooks and course material for Nebraska students. We will be discussing the challenges that print-impaired individuals face daily and how RTBS assists these individuals in leading self-directed, productive lives.
