This presentation, based on data from the CDC's Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Study and related childhood trauma studies, examines the psychological and behavioral vulnerabilities of at-risk teenage girls and highlights evidence-based treatment interventions and shame-reducing activities for working with this susceptible, yet resilient, adolescent population.
