Abstract
Background: Telecommuting, commonly referred to as “working from home”, is becoming an increasingly popular method of work. However, limited research has explored how telecommuting impacts an individual’s overall wellness. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the overall wellness of telecommuting and non-telecommuting employees. Methods: Telecommuting and non-telecommuting employees completed the Five Factor Wellness Inventory (5F-Wel) to assess overall wellness. Independent samples t-tests were used to compare survey scores between the two groups. Results: [Data analysis is in progress. Results and conclusions will be presented at the Research and Creative Activity Fair].
