Abstract

Ideally, 3D communication in the form of Holograms has become the next ideal form of communication. However, the question remains, is it a novelty that attracts individuals to holograms, or their social presence? This research endeavor examines the underlying foundations of social presence and presents findings from utilizing holograms in a telecommunication context.
