Abstract
Abstract: With advanced technology and revolution in smart devices in last decade and the ubiquity of the internet over the world, newspaper has become almost cast-off whereas e-version of news has become more favored and dominated in the media industry due to easy publication of news and competitive races of breaking news and news availability between news channels. One of the most popular places where news media channels are active and disseminating news is Twitter platform which almost every new media company has at least one official account, and often other accounts which are particularly dedicated for certain purposes such as sports, finance , and others. It becomes very essential for both the media industry and its customers to be aware of how active and effective a particular media channel is performing in terms of using Twitter to deliver news and updates comparing with other channels. This poster is to provide a comparative analysis of major news media of U.S.A in Twitter space in terms of activeness and people engagement.
