Abstract
Communicating through visual means allows for information to be spread efficiently and passively. This paper explores how visual graphics affect the viewer, and whether their mood is affected positively or negatively by use of self-reported surveys, while also using eye-tracking to gauge viewer interest. The students (n = 235) reported via a PANAS survey, both before and after viewing one of the two graphic variables. The implications of this study result in a greater understanding regarding the process by which the mind digests visual information and how it responds to those graphics.

I would prefer a presentation time earlier in the day as I am in a European timezone. Thank you.
