Abstract
Television as we know it today is a combination of motion pictures, radio, the stage, and the world of news and sports. It was offically introduced to the world and [unknown] at the [unknown] of the World's Fair in New York in 1939. It's sponser was the National Broadcasting Company who in the first television broadcast in history presented President Franklin D. Roosevelt. This was in April. In June King George and Queen Elizabeth of England, who were than visiting this country, were likewise presented.
