Abstract
The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship existing between scores on a company merit rating scale and an objective measure of performance for a given group of personnel when the ratings were made by three levels of management. A further purpose of the study was to determine the degree of agreement among the three levels of management in rating made on the group studied.
