Abstract
During the past fifty years, educators have successfully introduced audio/visual teaching aids into the schools. Tape recorders, record players, overhead projectors and filmstrip machines are now commonly used in most classrooms. At one time, each of these tools was considered an innovation, then a trend and finally a near requirement for teaching.
