Abstract
The fundamental basis of this Vocational Curriculum Guide is the philosophy of Father Flanagan's Boys' Home and School - Father Flanagan's Boys' Home is essentially that of any good home - a philosophy that recognizes that a boy is a child of God and that responsibility for his care must be shared by all members of the family. This responsibility is implicit and all-inclusive. It is a challenge to every one associated with the Home to do his best to make its high purpose a reality for every boy. A boy himself passes the test for membership when he says, "He ain't heavy Father, he's my brother."
