Abstract
Nowadays, education is regarded as the key, not only to economic stability of a nation but also to the political and social advancements. This growing consciousness to the importance of education, has in recent years almost doubled the pace of educational improvements in many countries. While the advanced nations are busy adjusting their educational systems to suit their objectives and changing needs, the developing nations try to imbibe and adapt their local situations. As in many other parts of Africa, Nigeria is no exception to making some educational progress.
