Abstract
The National Commission on School District Reorganization in making its report to the public in 1950 makes this statement: School district reorganization is imperative. It is imperative for the simple reason that a large majority of the school districts now operating in this county cannot give people the kind of educational programs they need to deal with the complex problems of present-day life or adequately prepare youth to cope with the problems of the future.
