Abstract
During the recent months, much concern has been expressed over the rising costs of public education. Property taxes have risen to new highs and the public has become determined that the schools hold the line as much as possible on expenses. It has now become apparent that educators must concentrate their attention on providing the best possible education for young people while, now more than ever, attempting to do this as economically as possible. This investigation was an attempt to consider these factors in the elementary schools of one particular school district.
