Abstract
This investigation concerned an analysis of the various reasons teachers leave the field of administration. In the United States the average continuous teaching career is five years with many trained teachers never actually entering a classroom. Frank Keppel, states that people know the teaching field is hard work and teachers are more than willing to accept this fact. "But there's got to be something to keep a good person interested; some hope that the career will bring him considerable amounts of influence and excitment."
