Abstract
In September, 1968, the Board of Education of the Bellevue Public School System approved a new salary schedule for their teachers which represented a substantial increase (about 10-12%) for all staff positions. This generous increment made the schedule, in the opinion of the Board, much more competitive with other school systems in the sub-urban area and in the state.
