Abstract
Only in recent years has the Christian Church taken an active interest in psychometric measures as applicable to the clergy. Missionary boards were the first to realise the practical value of psychological testing . They accepted the use of these tools In search of men and women who could withstand the psychological strains present in the foreign missionfield.
