- Lesson One: Images that Confront Us: Primary Source Analysis (whole-class and small-group discussion; individual summary, analysis and writing)
- Lesson Two: Paintings and Poetry – Building Visual and Text-based Literacy Skills (paired and small-group discussion and categorization; individual summary and analysis)
