Description
This board is a representation of common phrases used to wrongly justify violent sexual acts and the actual, true stories that lie underneath. All letters/stories are inspired by true events submitted to me anonymously by survivors on the social media platforms, Facebook and Reddit, along with my own experiences as a woman. I also wanted to note that this project was inspired by the workshop given to us by the Women's Center for the Advancement, and their discussion on the trauma-informed approached, along with how survivors may present their stories. Thank you.
* Blue/teal and purples color have been used to represent sexual and domestic violence awareness.
