Description

Brenda Hoffman is a mother whose child is disabled. She has taken care of him his entire life and has actively made her voice heard when it comes to protecting aid for disabled individuals. This includes voicing concern against legislation that would reduce programs that improve the lives of the disabled, calling for improvements to increase the effectiveness of already present systems, and protecting the civil rights of disabled people when they have been threatened. Wagner utilizes a collection of photos of Hoffman and her child, examples of emails she has sent to organizations/politicians, and explanations for certain pieces of legislation that Hoffman is opposing to provide context to the reader. ***Note: There are additional images that correspond to this presentation.
