Abstract
The business was founded by Carmen Kosmicki, who developed a lifelong passion for sewing and thrifting, eventually turning it into a sustainable fashion company. Of Goodness and Garment focuses on creating one-of-a-kind, upcycled denim pieces that promote creativity, individuality, and environmental responsibility. The target customers are primarily women (15+) who value unique, handmade, and sustainable fashion, especially those active online or those attending markets. Purchasing decisions are driven by individuality, craftsmanship, and exclusivity. The business targets the greater Omaha area and online U.S. customers, leveraging vendor markets, resale shops, and social media. Trends show growing demand for second-hand and handmade goods, especially among younger and female demographics. Competitors showing higher sales in online shops also have larger product inventories. The business stands out through uniqueness and sustainability but faces challenges in production speed and material limitations.
