Abstract
Experiences in Femininity is a student run, juried exhibition occupying the 1st floor of Criss Library at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. The 2024 exhibition is co-curated by Antonia (Toni) Parker and Kennedy Wallman, both are students within the Art and Art History Department. The juried exhibition features selected work based on the UNO student's critical engagement with the theme. Experiences in Femininity is an exploration of the diversity and complexities of the feminine experience. Works selected range from book arts, soft sculpture, poetry, 2-D art, and digital media. Additional programming and a local artist collaboration has been included, to both promote our student led exhibition, and to highlight the rich capacities of our students in their engagement with contemporary feminist thought.
