Abstract
VIA Character Strengths are a classification of positive attributes found in individuals. This study aims to examine the influence knowledge and application of personal strengths has on individual self-improvement in children. Through reading children's books on perseverance aloud to third graders, we intend to observe the long-term effects these books have on their subjective well-being, self-efficacy, and chances of success.
