Abstract
By allowing for the results of various academic ability tests and measures, numerous studies have been done on the relationship of other variables to college grades. Studies have indicated, for instance, that Greek letter society membership; choice of major subject; rural, urban, or "mixed" background; private or public high school background; amount of formal education of father and maturity of interests were significantly related to college grades in some groups.
