Abstract
This study was undertaken to determine the character of the administrative standards and practices in the small school system. More specifically, the problems involved were: 1. standards and practices of the superintendent as established by the board of education; 2. standards and practices of the board of education to the public; 3. the relationship of the board of education the public; 4. the relationship of the superintendent to the public; 5. the relationship of the board of education to the staff; and 6. the relationship of the superintendent to the staff.
