Abstract
The story of religion, as fascinating as it is mysterious, is as old as man himself. Christianity, which comprises a major part of religion, has for many centuries been a significant force at work fashioning the lives of individuals and the destinies of nations. The writer's purpose is not to examine in detail world religious deveopment, but rather to examine the influence of one small group of men on a significant development of Christianity in Great Britain.
