Abstract
Krzyszstof Kielowski's Decalogue, only recently released in North America, raises universal questions about faith and moral values through consideration of each of the Ten Commandments. The ten films transcend politics to plumb basic moral values, depicted in the daily lives of the dwellers in a Warsaw apartment house complex. Kielowski's films examine the moral dimension of human relations with God and with their fellow human beings.
