In 2014, to encourage the university community to publish their research in open access platforms, UNO Libraries established an open access fund to finance payment of article processing fees for UNO authors who wished to publish in open access journals. Due to budget reductions that began during the COVID-19 pandemic, the fund was suspended beginning with the 2020-2021 year. The scholarly articles published open access in 2014-2020 are available here. More information about open access at UNO can be found here.
