Abstract

This is an introduction to the special issue of the Journal of Curriculum, Teaching, Learning and Leadership in Education (CTLLE) on literacy in education. The editor-in-chief for this special issue provides context and commentary about literacy issues across the lifespan and describes each article in the issue.
