Introduction
As we begin our 20th year online, it is our great privilege to share this special issue of the Journal of Religion & Film which features articles from the 2015 International Conference on Religion and Film that was held in Istanbul, Turkey, May 21-23. The conference was sponsored by the Journal and the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and was hosted by the Center for Values Education (Degerler Egitimi Merkez) of Istanbul and the Ensar Foundation of Turkey. Our great thanks go to the DEM and Ensar for all they did to make this tremendous event possible. A printed volume of all the papers delivered at the conference, in Turkish and in English, will be available from DEM publishers in Turkey.Editorial
