Originally published for military studies through the Air Force Academy, Space and Defense has grown in editorial size and reputation which will bridge the military and academia gap. S&D published high quality articles that promote theoretically-based research on policy problems of national security, international conflict, deterrence theory, particularly in the nuclear, space, and cyber domains. Since it first appeared in 2003, S&D has established its unique place as a meeting ground for research due to its connection to the U.S. military and government policymakers.
