Aims & Scope
Space and Defense is an interdisciplinary journal, which is mainly concerned with the field of defense and national security. The journal is designed to be a forum for exchange of data, ideas and methodological approaches among the professional military, their supporting organizations and academic and independent researchers involved in the analysis of defense, security, and space policy.
S&D encourages the review on a wide range of methodological approaches - quantitative, qualitative and speculative. S&D accepts the following submissions:
'Articles' that are scholarly and empirically driven and present a novel or theoretical perspective to defense and national security.
'Essays' or 'Student Voice' submitted by undergraduate or graduate students.
'Perspectives' which are expert opinion-based articles, letters, or transcripts that have been communicated by defense senior leadership, policy-makers, or academic experts.
'Book Reviews' will also be accepted.
