Publication Ethics Statement
JOURNAL POLICY ON PLAGIARISM
Space and Defense enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy on plagiarism. By submitting to the journal, authors confirm that their work is original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere. Plagiarism includes using another’s work or ideas without proper attribution. Self-plagiarism, or duplicate publication, involves reusing significant parts of one’s own published work without citation, such as publishing the same paper in multiple journals or adding minimal new content to republish existing work. Authors must cite all sources for ideas, text, images, and diagrams in their submissions.
PLAGIARISM PRIOR TO PUBLISHING
Submitted manuscripts undergo peer review, during which editorial board members, reviewers, or editors may detect plagiarism. If any duplication is found, the author will be notified and may be required to revise the article to remove duplicated content. In cases of significant similarity to existing works, authors may need to provide explanations, and the article may be rejected. Manuscripts found to be simultaneously submitted to another journal will be immediately rejected.
PLAGIARISM DETECTED AFTER PUBLICATION
If a reader discovers plagiarism in a published article in Space and Defense , they are encouraged to inform the editors. If the editors confirm significant plagiarism, the article may be removed, or other necessary actions may be taken.
